Destiny Inspire, author of Coming Home

Why I wrote this

I wrote this book from the floor, not the finish line

In three years, I buried four women in my family: my grandmother, my mother, my aunt, and my sister. Grief came before I had finished grieving, and life kept asking something of me before I had fully recovered from what it had already taken. I was a caregiver, a leader, a minister, a coach, and still the woman people called when they needed strength. I kept serving, showing up, and producing because for a long time, being able to carry it felt like proof that I was okay.

But carrying it and being well were not the same thing.

Sometimes as women, we keep showing up for everybody because being needed feels safer than being still. People call it strength, but it is actually survival.

It's not always a drastic change that you need. It's small, intentional, ordinary practices that you repeat even on the hard days. Getting up early, setting aside time with God. A verse, a breath, and prayer. Facing the hard truth and telling them to myself and God, instead of the polished version.

That's what became Coming Home — 21 days of the exact rhythms that brought me back to peace, safety, and softness.

Time to come back home to the version of yourself that God originally designed.

Destiny Inspire

If this is you, I wrote it for you

You've been holding everyone. When were you last held?

You may know how to keep going even when your body is begging you to stop.

You may be the one everyone leans on, while your own voice gets quieter and quieter.

You can love God deeply and still feel very far from yourself.

  • You're tired of being the strong one.
  • Your body rests, but your mind never fully does.
  • Someone asks what you need and your mind goes blank.
  • Slowing down makes you feel guilty.
  • You've outgrown who you were, but haven't met who you're becoming.
  • You want healing that's honest and practical, not just pretty.
  • You're ready to be present in your own life again.

You don't need one more thing asking something of you. You need somewhere to come back to.

What becomes possible

What changes in 21 days

Small, doable rhythms — the same ones that carried me back to myself.

01

Let rest be something you're allowed, not something you earn.

02

Be with God without performing for Him.

03

Put down identities you only built to survive.

04

Find your voice, your softness, and your peace again.

05

Stay grounded even while your life keeps growing.

06

Come back into your body instead of living in your head.

The shift you'll feel

From bracing to breathing.

From performing to being present.

From abandoning yourself to honoring yourself.

From urgency to alignment.

From surviving your life to living in it.

How we'll walk it

The Coming Home Path

Five gentle movements that carry you through the 21 days — and long after.

01

Return

Slow down long enough to recognize where you have become disconnected from yourself.

02

Regulate

Use simple grounding, breathing, sensory, spiritual, and reflective practices that help your body experience greater calm and support.

03

Release

Identify expectations, identities, survival habits, and emotional burdens that no longer belong in your next chapter.

04

Restore

Rebuild trust with God, your body, your voice, your boundaries, your needs, and your inner life.

05

Reclaim

Return to your authority, joy, peace, femininity, creativity, and purpose without returning to pressure.

Inside the book

Made for your spirit, your soul, and your body

A quiet ivory devotional and tea on soft linen

Imagine

Imagine meeting yourself again

Waking up without immediately reaching for everyone else's needs.

Feeling tension in your shoulders before it turns into burnout.

Trusting your no without guilt, and your yes without fear.

Sensing God with you without having to earn it.

Living from somewhere grounded, gentle, and completely your own.

That's what coming home feels like.

The invitation

You've been everywhere except with yourself

You don't need more pressure. You need presence, permission, and a little softness.

Your book may be on the way soon, but your journey home can begin now.

Come home to your body. Come home to your voice. Come home to God. Come home to yourself.
